About The Build
About The Build
This project involved the staged redevelopment and expansion of the Dharnya Centre, including the delivery of “The Meeting Place”, student accommodation, caretaker facilities and supporting landscape and infrastructure works.
Designed to support education programs, cultural gatherings and immersive learning experiences, the project carefully balances functionality, durability and environmental sensitivity within a remote bushland setting.
The development required a highly considered approach to bushfire compliance, material selection and long-term operational resilience, with the design responding directly to the surrounding landscape, cultural significance and site constraints.
EDG Projects provided building design, planning coordination, design development, consultant coordination and project management services throughout the project to ensure the outcome aligned with both the project vision and practical delivery requirements
